We walk past them or abuse them for being lazy. But not all of those who beg or wander aimlessly on the streets want to be like that. Some of them are destitute or have been neglected by their families. You may ask why they can't be sent to old age homes or other charitable homes? But most of these come with terms and conditions, as RVM discovered.

Kuppuswamy (60) has only memories of his glory days. An artist, he had everything one could want in life. Happily married with two kids, his world revolved around friends and partying.
